A Journey of the Heart

Join us for a life changing workshop based on the work of Byron Katie (A Journey of the Heart)

Saturday and Sunday, June 23rd and June 24th

Byron Katie is the world renowned workshop leader and author of the books: Loving What Is, Question Your Thinking - Change the World, The Work of Byron Katie, and A Thousand Names for Joy as well as many children's books.

We all want to be happier, relaxed and enjoy more success in our lives.  We would love to be free of judgement and have smooth relationships with friends and family and partners. We would like to be more spiritual but are often thwarted by our own thinking.

What keeps us from consistently having these experiences? Why does it all seem so hard at times?

This program, based on the Work of Byron Katie, will teach you how to end your own suffering. As you are guided through the powerful process of inquiry known as the Work, you will find stressful beliefs—about life, other people, or yourself—radically shift. Through this process, lives are changed forever.

Based on Katie's direct experience of how suffering is created and ended, The Work is an astonishingly simple process, accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds, and requires nothing more than a pen, paper, and an open mind.

Through this program, anyone can learn to trace unhappiness to its source and deal with it there. Katie (as everyone calls her) not only shows us that all the problems in the world originate in our thinking: she gives us the tools to open our minds and set ourselves free.

With this powerful way of inquiry, perspectives shift and bring about an entirely new experience - one that is lighter, happier, easier and free of stress.

In this hands-on workshop, lead by Tim Miller, one of the original certified facilitators of The Work, you will learn the practical tools of self-inquiry that can be used to lighten your relationships with family, friends, money, health, career, and yourself.  The workshop is presented in an atmosphere of lightness, humor and fun.

Trained by Byron Katie herself, Tim Miller is one of the first certified facilitators of The Work. He has taught this process at the New York State prison system at Beacon and Fishkill, lead multiple retreats with Adult Children of Alcoholics and taught at the Mariandale Retreat Center in New York.

Tim served as staff and participant support leader at many of Byron Katie’s’ nine day schools and retreats, and facilitated hundreds of individuals over the past 14 years.

Tim is also experienced in other modalities of inquiry and has worked personally with other notable teachers including Lester Levenson (the Sedona Method) and David Hawkins (author of the bestseller, Power Vs Force). He is also an experienced practitioner of The Presence Process, a powerful journey into present moment awareness.

This two day workshop is divided into four segments; each lasting approximately three hours. Both Saturday and Sunday's schedules will be similar with each beginning at 9 am. The first session of each day will last until noon. There will be a two hour break for lunch which will be followed by a second three hour segment beginning at 2 pm and ending at 5 pm.
